Maude Caillat

Maude Caillat, a passionate self-educated player, immigrated from Switzerland in 2016, and is the visionary behind SingleMaltPlease. She is known for her explosive solos, lighting the room ablaze. A lover of all the sounds of the world, SMP is just one of four bands that she leads, from afrobeat to abstract free jazz. Fun fact: Maude is going to play Madison Square Garden someday (with or without us).

CAM CLARK

Cam Clark is a vibrant jazz trumpeter hailing from New Orleans. A graduate of the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) and Loyola University, Cam’s trumpet brings a lively spirit that transcends genres.

From the church to the French Quarter, Cam’s soulful melodies are a testament to his rich musical upbringing. playing with legends like the Marsalis family and grooving with Cha Wa, he’s a dynamic force on stage! Leading “Cam and the Sonic Canvis,” he delivers energetic performances that captivate audiences worldwide.

Whether he’s lighting up the french quarter fest at home or dazzling crowds at the Umbria Jazz Fest, Cam’s music brings people together. Jis infectious energy and heartfelt tunes make him a beloved figure in the New Orleans music scene.

I'm inspired to share my life story as well as the wisdom I've gained from my experiences.

Luke Palmer

Luke taught himself to play piano on Beethoven scores that were way too hard for him (you know the type), and came to love improvisation in all its forms. Always ready with an abstract chord or cross-rhythm to recontextualize his bandmates solos, Luke loves re-inventing every song on every show. He’s not just messing around though, and is always demanding the band to keep growing musically.

Zehrin Sims

Zehrin came to New Orleans from Sacramento in 2021 to be part of the scene and make his name, and now he is a prolific drummer, playing all nights of the week with great bands all around the city. In everyday life he is a polite, reserved man, but put him on stage and he delivers and delivers some more. Zehrin MC’s the band, provides supporting vocals, and plays some of the best drum solos you’ve ever heard.

Adam Samolsky

After playing for Jank Setup before their dissolution, Adam joined SingleMaltPlease (and a few other bands), jumping head first into his professional music career. Adam’s community energy helps lubricate the various interpersonal frictions within the band, then makes it djent on stage. He is often found before rehearsals jamming with Zerhin, sketching new funky grooves.
